Tech UP is a great opportunity for anyone interested in bridging technology and defence. During my internship, I had supportive colleagues and mentors who helped me grow both my technical and soft skills, and I got to know other interns from a range of backgrounds during the programme. Being exposed to a variety of ongoing projects also gave me a broader understanding of the defence industry.

One of the highlights of Tech UP was visiting the Singapore Airshow, where seeing our military capabilities up close deepened my interest in Singapore's defence sector. My mentor helped bridge theory with practical application, and working alongside fellow interns gave me a broader perspective of DSTA's work, along with friendships that lasted beyond the programme. These memorable experiences eventually led me to join DSTA full-time.
