DSTA staff came together to mark Singapore’s 60th birthday in a sea of red and white. It was double the reason to celebrate, as DSTA turned 25 this year. The day was packed with energy and playful competition as staff bonded over nostalgic games from chapteh to eraser fights.
The festivities also had a meaningful purpose. Staff rallied in support of the Community Chest, raising over $80,000 for those in need. Fundraising challenges kept the excitement high – none more so than the dunking activity, where members of the DSTA management committee gamely took the plunge for a good cause.
The celebrations culminated with the National Day Observance Ceremony, which brought everyone together to sing the National Anthem, take the Pledge, and join in the heart-warming renditions of National Day favourites performed by staff members.
Here’s to 60 years of strength and spirit. Happy Birthday, Singapore!
