Deputy Chief Executive (Operations) Hor Gar Yin received the award on DSTA’s behalf from Minister for Social and Family Development Desmond Lee at the Community Chest Awards Presentation Ceremony held on 13 October 2017.
The SHARE Awards recognise individuals, government agencies, foundations and corporations that have contributed generously to the SHARE programme. Funds raised from the programme are used to provide and improve care and support for the less privileged.
Assistant Director (Planning and Control) Ang Ching Na revealed that it is the joy of giving that spurred her to take part in the SHARE programme in 2016, as she is “blessed to be able to give and share”.
Head (Cyber Technologies) Ronnie Li added: “It’s meaningful to reach out and help. Every bit of contribution adds up, and it may make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate to help them realise their dreams.”
