In recognition of our exemplary support towards Total Defence and National Service (NS), we have been conferred the NS Advocate Award!
The award is the highest accolade conferred on individuals, businesses or organisations for their contributions towards NS.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen highlighted the need for Total Defence and how everyone has a role to play for Singapore’s national defence. He said: “It drives home the hard truth of the security threats to a country’s well-being and sovereignty… The freedom and way of life that Singaporeans enjoy are never a given, and must be protected at all times. …It doesn’t matter how high the skyscrapers, how deep the bonds we have formed between people – all that is lost if we cannot protect the country.”
Deputy Chief Executive (Operations) Roy Chan received the trophy on the organisation’s behalf during the award ceremony held on 23 March 2022.
