For our staff’s continued contributions to society and our strong corporate philanthropy via the Community Chest SHARE Programme, DSTA has received the SHARE Platinum Award for the third year running!
The SHARE Awards recognise individuals, government agencies, foundations and corporations that have contributed generously to the SHARE programme. Funds raised from the programme are used to provide and improve care and support for the less privileged.
Deputy Chief Executive (Strategic Development) Ngiam Le Na represented DSTA virtually at the Community Chest Awards Ceremony, which was held in a hybrid format on 19 October 2021.
As COVID-19 continues to disrupt the way we work and live, some of us opened up our hearts and wallets to continue giving back to society and supporting communities impacted by the pandemic.
Senior Engineer (Advanced Systems) Yee Zheng Kang said: “The past year has been difficult for many, and I am glad that I’m able to lend them a helping hand through my donations. The award is a very heartening validation that DSTA is very supportive of such good deeds as well.”
Echoing those sentiments, Principal Engineer (Systems Management) Anthony Seah added: “COVID-19 has affected many Singaporeans, and we must come together for a good cause to strengthen our social defence by helping one another to pull through this pandemic together.”
Similarly, Senior Programme Manager (Systems Engineering and C3 Centre) Yip Lai Hing said: “I’m very happy to be able to contribute and help support the needs of the disadvantaged and other vulnerable groups! It is wonderful that DSTA encourages all of us to be part of this programme.”
