Students in local Junior Colleges, Integrated Programme (IP) schools (Year 5 and 6), Institutes of Technical Education, Polytechnics and Universities are welcome to register for the camp.

Registration closes on 21 April 2019.

Successful registrants will be notified via email by 7 May 2019.

Pre-Competition AI Workshop
(Participants will be assigned to attend the workshop on either 3 or 4 June)

Participants will be introduced to Artificial Intelligence (AI) fundamentals and get hands-on practice of AI techniques. The training will cover the following topics:

  • Introduction to AI
  • Motivation for using AI in our everyday lives
  • Introduction to AI techniques
    • Rules and logic-based approaches
    • Machine learning / Deep learning approaches
    • Limitations of AI today
6 June 2019

Pre-Competition Briefing and Preparation

A pre-competition briefing will cover the competition format, rules and regulations, as well as the competition platform.

Guidance will be provided to help participants navigate and build AI models on the designated platform. Datasets and a baseline model to be used for the competition will also be issued.

After the briefing, participants will be given access to the platform to work on their AI models in the lead-up to the competition.

13 June 2019

Competition Day 1 and Tech Showcase

Teams will continue to train and refine their AI models while tackling new competition challenges.

Participants will also get to visit an exciting tech showcase featuring real-life applications of cybersecurity and AI.

14 June 2019 

Competition Day 2 and Award Ceremony 

Teams will pitch their solutions and AI models to explain their data preparation process, modelling techniques, and innovation used.

This will be followed by an Award Ceremony where the winning teams will receive attractive prizes.
