Online Training

The three-week online training will introduce participants to the fundamentals of cybersecurity and networking, with lots of hands-on practice on methodologies and techniques used by cybersecurity professionals. Participants will also learn about various cybersecurity defences and how they work, and pick up techniques to test these defences.

Participants only require a web browser and an internet connection for the online training, and will be able to learn and practise at their own time and pace during the three weeks. Hint! The materials covered in the online training will be useful in the competition!

31 May - 2 June 2019 (Tentative)

Online Qualifier (Tentative)

As there are limited places in the competition, a 48-hour online qualifier may be held to select top teams to progress to the on-site competition. More details will be released at a later date.

Participants will be required to attend a pre-competition briefing that will cover the competition format, as well as rules and regulations.
