Co-Create With Us!
Singapore's defence and security.
DSTA@71 is a dynamic co-innovation open lab by Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA). Plugged into the technology start-up clusters, the lab aims to accelerate local start-ups by working with them towards the rapid development of technologies to strengthen Singapore’s defence and security.
We run a series of programmes designed to support networking and collaboration with industry partners. They include Tech Talks, HackerFest and Innovation Calls to seek out innovative solutions from the community to real-life challenges.
To harness artificial intelligence for technology scanning, maritime security, modelling and simulation, command systems and more
To optimise solutions and reduce operator workload for fleet management and more
To utilise automation in emerging domains
To leverage immersive technologies to provide breakthrough solutions in areas beyond training and virtual command centres
Our open lab was set up in 2018 as a springboard to tap new and disruptive technologies. Designed for open access, it offers a dedicated platform for co-innovation, collaboration and conceptualisation of breakthrough innovations to strengthen the defence and security of Singapore. It is located in Block 71 at Singapore’s JTC Launch Pad, a vibrant and innovative hub for start-ups and incubators.
At DSTA’s inaugural HackerFest, see your ideas take shape. We are looking to partner start-ups, enterprises, academia and students to develop innovative solutions in image analytics, gamification and immersive technology to strengthen Singapore’s defence and security!
