TechX Challenge Finals
Watch the robots battle it out!
Witness the final race among six robots which have made it through the Qualifying Rounds in May 2008. The inaugural TechX Challenge attracted active interest from local and overseas educational institutions, robotics enthusiasts as well as representatives from the private sector. A total of 28 teams had participated in the competition when it was launched in January 2007.
Don’t miss the opportunity to operate robots and overcome challenging obstacles!
A display of robotics will be held in conjunction with the TechX Challenge finals. At the Robotics Showcase, visitors will be treated to robotics demonstrations and hands-on operations, apart from static displays.
The Robotics Showcase will feature how Singapore's defence has been leveraging robotics technology over the past 30 years to meet its operational needs. It will highlight the research and development that DSTA has initiated to develop robotics capabilities to meet the needs of the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF).
Robots which are used for dangerous missions such as explosive ordnance disposal are on display, together with robotics applications developed in Singapore. Visitors can witness 'live' demonstrations of robotic capabilities and have opportunity to operate an SAF robot. Also on show are educational and interactive robots.
We look forward to seeing you at this exciting event!
