Systems Management
An armed force's capabilities can only be as good as the state of its systems and platforms.
Through the Systems Management Group, DSTA manages all the systems and
platforms under our care, from fielding to retirement. We provide the
highest standard of operations and support (O&S) services to the
Ministry of Defence and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), keeping their
systems humming, and ensuring a high state of operational readiness.
Our responsibilities are wide-ranging, from maintenance management of
in-service systems,and timely upgrading of systems for life extension
to engineering support to ensure a high level of operational readiness.
Our systems management professionals engage in a diverse range of work,
reflecting DSTA's capabilities in many technology areas. These include
the system management of the SAF's in-service systems, such as:
- weapons and sensors systems
- armament systems
- command, control, communications and intelligence systems
- simulation systems
- corporate IT systems
- IT infrastructure
- building facilities
Our end-to-end total integrated systems management approach and
expertise help sustaining a high level of operational readiness of the
various in-service systems, at optimal cost.
