Currently in his second year at the University of Michigan, Ann-Arbor, USA, Wong Wen Jie is pursuing a course in Aeronautical Engineering.

"The thought of having very supportive DSTA Scholarship officers is most reassuring and I am looking forward to a conducive working environment in the organisation after my studies."

Low Danlin chose to study Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and is in her first year at the National University of Singapore. She feels the there is more to a scholarship than money and prestige.


"I'm motivated to strive for the best to fulfil the commitment that I've made. At the same time, I get to pursue my passion of working on cutting-edge technology."

Jeremy Leow, a third-year student at the Imperial College, United Kingdom, is taking his course in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Jeremy finds that he is able to relate his course of studies to his work in future under the DSTA Scholarship.

"It is both enriching and rewarding to be able to apply the knowledge and experiences I have learnt into advancing our nation's defence technology."

Desmond Hu is a third-year Electrical and Electronics Engineering student in Carnegie Mellon University, USA. He derives satisfaction from working at the forefront of technology to do his part for Singapore.


"There is nothing more meaningful and fulfilling than doing my part to enhance Singapore's defence capabilities."

Chen Kaizhen, currently pursuing her Masters in Biomedical Engineering at the Duke University, USA, worked as an intern at DSO National Laboratories previously.

"I definitely look forward to being a part of this dynamic workforce after my studies. The internship had given me a deeper insight to what I might be doing in future."
