Enterprise IT
As the main technology partner of the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), DSTA identifies key initiatives and exploits key emerging technologies to stretch IT boundaries and support dynamic changes to business operations and new business models.
DSTA manages and delivers end-to-end enterprise IT solutions to enhance MINDEF and the SAF's operational effectiveness and efficiency. One of DSTA's flagship projects is the MINDEF/SAF Enterprise System (ES), which has been successfully rolled out to the Navy and Army. The ES for the Air Force was successfully launched in 2007.
DSTA also has programmes looking into integrated HR Planning, HR Capital Management, NSMen & Unit Management Processes, Knowledge Management Systems and Financial Systems.
In addition, DSTA supports business areas that are emerging or highly specialised in nature, usually with a focus on innovative use of IT. We leverage the latest tools and methodologies to deliver integrated end-to-end solutions and provide a wide spectrum of consultancy services in application architecture, solution and integration.
DSTA also lends itself as a testbed platform, to showcase new ideas and IT innovations that can benefit our partners in MINDEF and the SAF.
