The Defence Technology Prize (DTP) is awarded to foster and encourage technological innovation and excellence amongst defence scientists and engineers.
Established since 1989, this national prize is awarded annually by the Minister for Defence to individuals and teams who have made significant technological contributions to the defence capability of Singapore during the year.
The Defence Technology Prize 2007 was held on Friday 26 Oct 2007 at the Nanyang Auditorium, Nanyang Technological University. The guest-of-honour for the event is Minister for Defence Mr Teo Chee Hean.
