Government Electronic Business website
The Government Electronic Business (GeBIZ) website (www.gebiz.gov.sg) is an integrated online business centre where GeBIZ registered suppliers (known as GeBIZ Trading Partners) can conduct e-commerce with the Singapore Government. All unclassified quotations and tenders are published using GeBIZ. Suppliers can also get information such as tender schedules of bids received and tender awards. Supplier registration can be performed online via GeBIZ website. The first user account for the company is free.
Quotations
We invite quotations for lower value purchases. Our quotations are published in GeBIZ where business activities are conducted online, from responding to quotations, receiving electronic POs, submission of electronic invoices, as well as obtaining payment status.
Tenders
We call tenders for higher value purchases. Open Tenders are published in GeBIZ and open to all GeBIZ Trading Partners, while Limited Tenders are generally for classified purchases in which a selected number of suppliers are invited to tender. In general, Open Tenders are transacted online as with Quotations, and are open for a period of time as specified in the tenders.
Tender proposals are to be submitted electronically through GeBIZ. However, to cater for major projects with voluminous proposal documents, we would allow for manual mode of submission. We will specify such deviation in our tender.
Under Manual mode, tenderers are required to submit proposals in hardcopies into a Tender Box by the closing date and time as specified in the tender documents. The Tender Boxes are located at:
Tender Office
Defence Science and Technology Agency
1 Depot Road, Level 1
Defence Technology Tower A
Singapore 109679
Our operating hours are:
Mondays to Fridays - 8.30am to 5.30pm
Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays - Closed
Tenderers (especially overseas tenderers) are advised to cater sufficient time for submission of their proposals into the Tender Box by the stipulated closing date and time. Late tenders will be considered as invalid.
